Trufill Insulation for Builders, Architects & Designers

Trufill Insulation for Builders, Architects & Designers

Warmafloor Underfloor Insulation

Insulation for Trade Applications

Trufill insulation uses a blown, un-bonded glasswool system built specifically for trade applications in new build construction. As a result, builders, architects, designers, and installers can fill wall, roof, floor, and mid-floor cavities with greater consistency, creating a reliable thermal barrier that supports high performance building outcomes. In practice, this installation method improves coverage around framing and service penetrations. This helps deliver energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and reliable compliance across a wide range of new build projects.

The perfect high performance insulation system for your next project

Trufill® Insulation supports modern building requirements across New Zealand. Builders, architects, and designers use it when designing high performance homes, specifying insulation for compliance, or managing installation on site. The system offers a flexible and reliable solution that adapts to a wide range of project needs.

About Trufill Insulation

Designed for consistent thermal results, Trufill® uses blown insulation technology to perform across a wide range of building applications. Unlike traditional New Zealand insulation systems such as batts or blankets, Trufill is based on blown insulation technology.

When installers blow insulation into place, it flows around pipework, wiring, and framing to improve coverage. As a result, this installation method helps the system achieve higher installed R-values and stronger real world performance within the building envelope.

Builders and designers around the world have used blown insulation systems for many years. In New Zealand, however, the industry has traditionally relied on batts and blanket insulation. Historically, lower insulation requirements reduced the need for alternative systems. More recently, updates to the Building Code, including H1 requirements, have increased demand for high performance insulation solutions. Trufill responds to these changing expectations by helping builders meet modern compliance standards while improving thermal performance.

Insulation System Flexibility for Modern Builds

One of the key advantages of the Trufill® system is its versatility. This means the system can be used across multiple parts of a building, including:

Ceilings

Walls

Underfloor

Midfloor

Acoustics

Supporting High Performance and Energy Efficient Homes

As building expectations shift toward higher thermal performance and improved energy efficiency, insulation plays a larger role in overall building outcomes. Consistent cavity coverage helps meet these performance goals by improving comfort and reducing unwanted heat transfer.

For architects and designers working on high performance homes, the system offers an insulation solution that aligns with evolving compliance requirements while maintaining flexibility across different building styles. As a result, teams can integrate Trufill into a wide range of projects without compromising performance or design intent.
