Warmafloor Applications

Underfloor insulation under a suspended floor

Underfloor Insulation

Perfect for insulating the floors of existing homes
Up until recently, the most common method for insulating floors in New Zealand homes was the installation of batts or segments stapled to the underside of floorboards. While this approach can offer reasonable performance during summer or in calm weather, it has been found that insulation values drop dramatically in winter—especially when exposed to wind. This is a major concern for Kiwi homes where underfloor airflow is common. Warmafloor offers a modern, high-performance alternative.

Warmafloor Loft Ceiling Insulation

Midfloor &
Acoustic Insulation

The perfect acoustic and thermal solution for floors and mid-floors in multi-story homes
Warmafloor Insulation is ideal for insulating midfloors without the need to remove the internal linings. Small holes are drilled in the ceiling plasterboard through which Warmafloor is blown. This process fills the entire cavity without leaving any gaps or voids, unlike other insulation products.

New Build Floor insulation

New Builds

High performance floor insulation for new builds.
Warmafloor is part of the Trufill Insulation system for new builds and can be easily installed inbetween the floor joists using a specialised installation process. Blown Insulation provides the perfect insulation solution for new builds due to its high thermal performance and ease of install. The Trufill system can be installed into walls, roofs and floors and is suitable for most New Zealand home builds.
